Biography
David Pinder already serves his local community in many ways. He is Chairman of his local Historical Society, Chair of his local Community Partnership, a member of the Road Safety Committee and
Governor of a local school.
David Pinder has previously served his country both as a soldier, having been commissioned into the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire and in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. He has also been the Chief Executive of three large Chambers of Commerce, one of which was Humber and Lincolnshire, and Director-General of the Council for Education in World Citizenship.
David is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel &
Development and he has recently undertaken post-graduate research into counter-insurgency at the Department of Peace Studies at Bradford University where he also leads seminars on terrorism.
Reasons for Supporting the New Party
We need to develop a new kind of politics that really engages with people at a local level. If we do not discuss the issues that really matter to people, we risk further alienating people from the political process.
