Reasons for Supporting the New Party
read and answered the questionnaire for businesses and immediately realised it was prepared by people who understood business. I followed up by looking at the New Party website and reading the policies. I liked what I read and appreciated the lack of spin and how the policies had been developed from clearly stated principles and not as a vote catching exercise. I have been a Civil Servant, a senior employee in an international company, self employed and now run a small business serving other small businesses. I am shocked at how little I understood about small business when I was cushioned in the Public Sector and large companies. I see a chasm of understanding between these groups and this is reflected in public policy. Every aspect of life is subject to regulations. I hope that in supporting the New Party I can help rid us of over-regulation and make it possible to lead freer lives.
