Reform: Restoring our democracy

Creating responsive, fair and democratic governance

There are three significant problems at the core of our political system: a lack of authority, a lack of democracy and a lack of experience.  Our system of parliamentary government has become little more than an empty shell weakened by executive power, party politics and the avalanche of laws and regulations emanating from the EU.  Genuine political reform means restoring the integrity of parliamentary government, not tinkering with the composition of the House of Lords or the electoral system.
