News release: New Party campaign welcomed in Haltemprice & Howden

On the run up to election day, New Party candidate David Pinder reports that he is more than satisfied with the reaction he has received on the street.

"The people of Haltemprice and Howden are not impressed by an election which does not allow them to vote on the issues that concern them.  They are puzzled about a candidate who appears unhappy in his own party and they are most certainly not amused by joke candidates turning the entire process into a farce.  However, they have certainly reacted well to the New Party," he says.

A serious candidate

Unlike the majority of the 26 candidates, David Pinder is a serious candidate.  He has followed a distinguished career in the army and the Foreign Office with a career lecturing on counter-terrorism.  He has the qualities required to become an outstanding Member of Parliament.

"Although this is by no means the first time that a Labour government has brought us to our knees, the real problem this time is that all the parties are now offering the same policies," said David.  "The Tories and Liberal Democrats are also committed to high public spending, to keeping health and education within state control and to taxing heavily."

The New Party is fighting Haltemprice and Howden to establish if voters are now prepared to support a party which actually offers a realistic alternative to the the dominance of two parties.

David Pinder continued, “One more Tory MP in David Cameron’s party won't change anything.  It is time for voters to forget about political loyalty and think about their children’s future.”
